We talk a lot about “craveable” food at The Food Channel®. There’s something amazing about creating a dish that brings people back for more, time and time again. It is most magical, however, when people can relive that experience without even opening their mouths. Except, that is, to talk about it to others.

As I talk to people around the country about food, I find that some confidently call themselves a “foodie,” while others say, “I’m a foodie wannabe,” as though there were some special qualification they hadn’t quite met.
